Spencer is 2!!

All ready for church in his "birthday suit!" You went to nursery for the whole time today and only cried for about 10 seconds! You even sat on the mat and participated in singing time and ate snack at the table with the rest of the kids!! The church is true!

Happy Birthday, my little 2 year old! What would we do without our Spence?? There is never a dull moment when you are around and your smile can just light up a room. We have to know where you are every second since you have numerous escape routes outside and if we ever hear Landon cry, I'm afraid our first question is, "where's Spencer?"

* you have the hardest head known to man, I swear. If you bonk heads with anyone, we just all sympathize and want to cry with the person. You are always hitting it and have more goose eggs and bruises than any kid I know. I think it just gets harder with every injury.

* you still love Baby Einstein. Your favorite present was Baby McDonald and have wanted to watch it over and over...

* I love it when you scrunch up your nose and do your funny laugh through it:

*You love to climb on my trunk on the back of the couch and do a flying somersault down. Heaven help anyone sitting there. (like...our 70 and 80 yr old home teachers!!)

*We all love your kisses. You come up and give a slobbery mouth and say "mwaaaaaaa." Your sisters love to ask you for a "mwa." Landon, not so much.

*If you do something mean to Landon and you know you're in trouble, you immediately start stroking his head and saying, "saaaaaw, saaaaaw" (soft)

*You love your dad's electric toothbrush. You always steal it and walk around with it going in your mouth. We got you one, but you don't like it. For some reason, you just love the Oral B. If he ever gets a cold, guess who gets the blame?

* you love books and especially love to rip the flaps off of the lift the flap books. Our poor book collection will never be the same.

*you love to touch Landon with your feet! Aaaaarrgh! If he is laying on the bed or in his bouncer, you love to put your bare feet on top of his head, and not always softly. You think it is funny, but mommy does not.

*Actually, you love to climb anything: the piano, up on the counter to get a "nack" (snack), into Landon's pack 'n play, up on the counter in our bathroom, to the top of the bunk beds, you name it. You have not climbed out of your crib yet which we count as a tender mercy.

In the morning when I come in with Landon, you pat your pillow and want me to lay him in the bed next to you. Sorry, Landon...you're so patient. His face says it all:
