On Christmas Eve we went to a service at the church…Melissa played in a quartet, then we came home to matching pajamas,
then the nativity (notice baby jesus being forced into the manger with an emperor shepherd to the right)
waking up to a white Christmas (Lauren & Hailey were up at 3 a.m. screaming with delight opening their stockings and playing with the Target elf voice recorders)

Hailey got Lanie!
Logan got a Lego set
and a very cool rocket 
made with lots of love from his sisters
it was the hit of the morning…
Logan made something special for everyone, Lauren got a new bike (no picture??)
Spencer loved his Thomas bike and gave free rides
the aftermath….
Then we headed up to Buena Vista for Christmas dinner with Grandma & Grandpa Smith, Rod & Jamie, and Grandpa Reget.

How cute! My favorite is that the boys loved the rocket ship so much and it was just a cardboard box! It reminds me of the story Grandpa Lofgren tells every year.
