winter of 2009-10 in Virginia

Crazy. We’ve never seen anything like it, or missed as much school. Everyone here tells us it’s a once in 15 years winter and we broke all kinds of records. Welcome to Virginia!

Spencer 2.75 years Lauren 9 yrs oldWe went on a walk because the kids wanted to show me their secret fort in a fallen tree.

We all of a sudden didn’t have Spencer behind us, so I walked back and I found my little lamb just standing by a tree. His hat had gotten caught on a branch. I can’t even tell you how much this picture melts my heart.
