We had our ward fall festival, which was a lot of fun. Primary was in charge of games, so we got everything set up that morning. I was in charge of the cookie walk. We had a chili cookoff, games, face painting, and a trunk or treat afterward. The girls each brought a neighbor friend, and they had a great time.

Autumn and Hailey
I really did not want to post this picture, because I look huge!! Guess how many times Hyrum got asked why he didn't dress up that night?? Fun times...
Lots of people here think Halloween is evil. They don't even mention Halloween at school. So imagine, when they drove past the church and temple and saw witches and goblins running around for the trunk or treat in front of the temple . I just have to chuckle thinking that their suspicions are confirmed: those Mormons are devil worshippers!
Thursday night was pumpkin carving time!
Make a face like your pumpkin!!

Friday night we went to a party at Hailey's friend's house and then did a bit of trick or treating. We pooled all of our candy into a big bowl, and they get to choose a little treat every day. Logan hid his in his closet and I could not figure out the wrappers I was seeing around. We finally found his stash last night and just laughed. I should have taken a picture of all the wrappers~he had gone to town and I couldn't believe he hadn't gotten sick. Little sneak!
The weather was gorgeous on Saturday~I think we got up to 84. Hyrum went water-skiing with the Johnson's and when he wiped out, the ski hit the side of his head and he has a big gash in it. Ouch! It was bleeding all day yesterday, and I thought it might need stitches, but he wanted to wait. Jacob and Carrie came over Saturday night to celebrate Jacob's birthday and to watch the Texas~Texas Tech game. What an amazing game!!

Logan had his speech evaluation also~he was borderline being qualified for speech therapy, so they are leaving the decision up to us. We're trying a few things at home and see what the next few months bring. I've got my final ultrasound on Wednesday and I'm starting my dr. appts every 2 weeks. Holy cow, it's coming fast and I so don't feel ready yet!
Church was good~Spencer wanted nothing to do with nursery, I mean completely spazzing out, I was heading up the primary program practice in the chapel since the prim president is out of town (Bliss, I cannot WAIT until you're back!!), and the nicest guy in our ward just took him with his son and walked around the building and the temple for 2 hours. Brother Clark was an angel to us today. Lauren wanted to know if she could be given a calling as "Spencer's Helper" in nursery. How I wish!!

Great stuff--Melissa, you look fabulous!
I love Halloween!! I know I already told you-but I love everyone's costumes! And you Do NOT look huge! I pray I look as good as you do when I'm pregnant. But I must say I do like you better as a blonde...=) And I love that Logan has his own stash of candy. I have my secret stashes too=) And good for him for working on his speech. I have faith in that little boy! Love you!
Cute pictures, Melissa. I loved that picture of your kids with their pumpkins - Logan's face is hilarious. You look fantastic as well, and do not look huge at all crazy girl. You always look cute pregnant. I remember hoping that I'd look as good as you when I got pregnant. Remember that time I was with you in Logan and we were shopping for my fireside dress - that lady kept on commenting on how cute you looked. Anyway, I agreed and hoped that people would say that about me when I got pregnant. Weird memory, but great post. Miss you tons!
