Hyrum has been so excited for today: first day of college football games! He told me the only thing he wanted for his birthday and Christmas was Direct TV so he could watch his favorite games. His wish was granted, and today was like Christmas for him. His beloved Utes beat Michigan, at Michigan, 25-23. He is very excited for the season.
Carrie, Jacob, Kimber, and Faustin all came over to watch the BYU game. They endured the end of the Utah game with us, and then we watched the Cougs pound Northern Iowa 41-17. We're already excited for
the big matchup in November. We had fun eating, watching, and eating more while the kids played. They are all die hard Cougar fans and we're wondering if we can stay friends much longer. :) GO UTES! (We actually do cheer for BYU when they aren't playing Utah) Texas Tech also won, so it was a great football day for us. Here's hoping your team won!
