I have a daughter that is 8 years old?!? It's still unreal to me. She had a good day~we started with Krispy Kremes in the morning and since we'll have a big family party when everyone comes for her baptism in a few weeks, we kept everything else pretty low key. She took her good friend, Meghan to lunch at McDonalds, and then we all came back and she had a bunch of neighborhood kids over for a water balloon fight and ice cream cones. They also played Disney DVD Bingo for hours~such a fun game. That night we just had cake and ice cream and opened some presents and did "birthday interview." She also snuck to the computer every spare second she could to play with her Webkinz, which was the hit of the day. (They are little stuffed animals that you take care of online.) Happy 8th Birthday, Lauren Dorothy!!

Can it be my neice Lauren is 8!?!? Seems like just yesterday I was babysitting her while she played with my shag carpet!!:) I love you Lauren--we all do! It was our last day of school on your big day and things were pretty crazy, so we missed calling you. SORRY!! We did think about you all day and thanked Heavenly Father that you were born!! Hope you got our phone message yesterday!
Happy Birthday Lauren!!! We miss you as next door neighbors! Too bad you aren't still here...so you and Tyler could get baptized at the same time! That would have been cool!!!
I can't believe I have nieces that are 8! Lauren looks so grown up, and we can't wait to see everyone the end of this month. I only wish we could be there for the baptism. Congrats mom and dad on raising such a wonderful young lady!
