Wow! We have had a crazy last month! It seems like so much has happened and it has. My dad flew us home to Montana for Christmas (thanks sooooo much, Dad!) and we got to spend a few days in Salt Lake on the way. The flights were crazy backed up and delayed, so that made for quality time in the Albuquerque and Salt Lake airports.
We were on our flight from Albuquerque to Salt Lake and when we were walking down the runway,we ran into Hyrum's old mission companion~he was our pilot! He couldn't believe it and they had so much fun catching up. Thanks for flying us safely there, Brian!
In Salt Lake we got to see my brother Nicholas and his wife, Courtney, and Hyrum's brother Rod, his wife Jamie, and their precious new baby, Lucy! We also got to see our friends from Nampa, Troy and Tara Christensen. So good to see you all!
We stayed downtown Christmas Eve in Salt Lake~they had a huge snowstorm and it was so beautiful! Temple Square was a perfect winter scene and we had our first ever Christmas Eve dinner at the Olive Garden!
Then, it was on to Montana! Such fun times there, some of the highlights:
*Settlers of Catan and the expansion pack~we got it for Christmas and there were lots and lots of late night games. David, Kels' husband pretty much dominated, but we're planning a comeback! We love it~thanks Michael & Kristine!
*Kaitlyn's birthday party at the Carousel in Missoula
*my favorite past time activity with my mom and sisters: Shopping! Dillards New Years sale, Target 90% off, and Bath and Body have never been the same. This is with our friend, Sheri Adams.
*Crepes on New Years with the family!
*Pedicures with Kels!
